Here's how the rankings shape up post SJS Pacific Cup!
With the San Jose Sharks Pacific Cup officially finished, we can update our team rankings for the month of May! Here’s some key talking points from the update:
The 1-2 battle between Entourage and IslesGT remains extremely tight, with Entourage retaining the top spot after their win in the Pacific Cup. IslesGT continues to make the margin razor thin by consistently matching their pace, finishing 2nd in the event. The ultimate matchup will come in the summer, where it is really a 2 horse race to be considered the best team of 2023.
Future Stars came into the event as a new roster, but one chalked full of talent. This team quickly proved they can compete at the top of the pyramid, making it to the semi finals of the event in relatively dominant fashion.
With around 25 points separating 7 teams on the list, the battle for a top 10 spot will be the biggest thing to watch in upcoming events. One Unit went through a retool of their roster, but have managed to stay competitive. This tier will go through a huge face lift come roster changes, so when the dust settles we will see who will come out on top following future events.
